when we slept barely 3 hours a day.

when we joked and laughed and poke fun of each other.

when we helped one another out.

when we put in our 100% for the project.

when time wasn’t on our side.

where we barely made it in time.

2 weeks, 14 days, 336 hours.

The most tiring but fulfilling days of 2010. (:

Not that it was smooth-sailing all along (*rolls eyes), but well, the roller-coasters are tuned to travel higher this time round!

FYP madness I would say!

Every anxious (i am being very courteous using this instead of …) student is busy-ing sending out emails, going for interviews, trying to impress their interviewers as much as they can, trying to secure the top choice as much as they can.

Urgh, now you can ‘see’ all the ugly tactics.

Gees, yes i understand everyone is worried about not being able to get into that oh-so perfect project you have probably dreamed of since you have been born, but is there really a need to go that far? Really? Seriously? Do you have to go around assuring your interviewers that you will select them as your top choice when you don’t? You are depriving others of a chance! Come on, you can only select one as your top choice, so logically, how is it possible to give the assurance to 5 different profs? Superhuman powers, perhaps huh.

I am getting sick and tired of all these. Why do humans behave in such manner? Why do we tend to ‘degrade’ ourselves by portraying such behaviour? I just don’t understand the motives/ reasons behind all these. And I don’t believe there can be any good reason for such behaviour at all.

Anyway, this battle is not one for me, and definitely not one I would willingly get into.

I shall just pray (really really hard) for a prof that is understanding, willingly to teach and give me the chance to learn as much as possible within that time frame. Location wise I think it can be a good sacrifice I can get a good prof. So, I will really pray hard! =)

The grass is always greener on the other side

So, is this entirely true? Here’s something for you to ponder and think about too

In my opinion, I would say “Nah.” I don’t really believe in this. Yes, it is human nature to want to posses what others have which we do not have. It is human nature to think that others always have it easier than us… that the surrounding people are more fortunate than us, and we are the ones that always have to suffer etc…

BUT, once you reach the other side, you would have realize that the green over there is not greener. In fact, it might have been ‘less green’ than your own patch.

I feel everyone should be comfortable in their own grass patch. Learn and grow from our own grass patch. Rather than constantly looking over to the other side, wishing that you could have the chance to step into that ‘greener’ grass patch, why not make your own grass patch ‘greener’? (:

Success does not come easily. This we all know isn’t it? We may think that our own situation is in dire state, and others are far more fortunate that us. But, before you start having this thinking, stop yourself and ask yourself this question: What if I am in the other person’s shoes? Now, what we think is good may not apply for others. The person whom you think is in the ‘greener’ patch may be struggling through a difficult situation in life, but yet put on a smile so as not to let others worry. Or, the person may indeed be in a ‘greener’ patch, but I believe it comes at a price. The higher you climb, the harder you fall…

Anyway, i just wanted to share this thought for today. Its time for an episode of my Jap drama before I call it a night.

I am going to download the trial version and try it out tomorrow.

Despite everyone being busy with their own tests, presentations, assignments, I think its a miracle we can get together and do the report as a team. Fighting!

Anyway, as the chief marketing officer (LOL) I have finished the company’s trademark, name cards and template for presentation. My eyes are POPing out now. They hurt – which means I have been staring at the screen for too long and its TIME for sleep!

Anyway, I have deactivated my FB account. Why so? Hmmm, no particular reasons, just didn’t feel like having an account anymore.

I am currently tied up with cca, school, soka and tuition! sometimes 24hours are not enough at all. but then again, we have to learn to manage our time well right! so i shall do our best! =)

just a short update for now. having presentation this sat so i will be busy busy as a bee this week! lol.

My first Photoshop-ed graphic since 2-3 years ago.. LOL. I can’t  exactly recalled when I  last touched Photoshop but its definitely econs ago.

I realized I have lost my touch. Tried using brushes with 4 different graphics and all did not leave up to my expectations.

Sigh, I need to practise more, more, MORE! The above graphic is probably the best after an hour of trial-and-error.

Any comments welcome~! ^^

Tried out POP ART with Photoshop today and *boy!*  there is so many steps involved. Haha. I gave up halfway as my graphic didn’t turn out well.. LOL

Back to work (and money!)

May and June are going to be the busiest months for now.
